Our second Woodhouse Scarecrow Festival was a huge success, raising over £1000 for the local charity, Focus 4 Hope, who help vulnerable people in West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Here was my display, a celebration of bees and my first children's book. It was lovely to spend the weekend chatting to lots of people as they came to look at the scarecrow displays. Luckily, the weather was kind to us, although I did have to chase my bees down the road a few times when the wind whipped up! Three real bumblebees flew past on the Saturday - I took that as a good sign!
